BREAKING
Senate Overrules CA Vehicle Emissions Regulation Right
In an unexpected series of events, the US Senate has gone against the grain and “voted 51 to 44 to overturn a waiver allowing California to set its own air pollution standards for cars that are stricter than national regulations” (Camila Domonoske)
The vote, unsurprisingly, produced tremendous controversy and backlash. Many speculate the the authority of the senate to revoke such waivers , and challenge the power of the Congressional Review Act that gave the senate the ability to impose this level of control.
California Governor, Gavin Newsom, has wasted no time to announce that he will be filing a lawsuit agaisnt the US senate, claiming their actions were illegal. This was all done while positioned behind a podium reading “TRUMP’S GOP IS MAKING AMERICA SMOGGY AGAIN”

Big Checks With Bigger Numbers
Just last week, as MileOne does every year, an ENORMOUS $105,093.50 check was presented to the American Cancer Society to fund the Road To Recovery program. The donation came courtesy of Herb Gordon Subaru, Heritage Subaru Catonsville, and Heritage Subaru Owings Mills. The funds will go toward providing cancer patients transportation to and from treatment.
