Another Major Storm Threat Brewing For The Northeast Days After Deadly Winter Storm

Snow(ice)mageddon 2026

Be careful everyone. We might be gearing up for more snow this weekend. With plenty of evidence of last weekend’s storm hanging around, more snowfall can mean some pretty nasty conditions. Reports appear to be changing by the day, so keep a close eye on your trusted sources and follow our RADD snowstorm preparedness checklist below →

Prepare for snow with RADD

Do not forget to:

• Food & Water: Stock at least 1–3 days of non-perishable food and bottled water. Beer and wine are optional.

• Power: If you have a generator make sure it has fresh fuel and will start. Get out there this evening and give it a crank and let it run. If you do not have one, make a plan in the case power is lost.

• Medications: Refill all prescriptions and make sure you have basic first-aid supplies.

• Snow Gear: Don’t be cold. Gear up and stay warm. Remember, you can always remove layers once you’re out - It’s much harder to add layers.

• Home Prep: Salt steps and walkways - Injuries from slipping on ice can be very severe. Give your home a once over. Is everything working?

• Travel Safety: Keep your gas tank full, avoid unnecessary travel, and keep an emergency kit in your car. This should ALWAYS include added layers to keep you warm.

• Stay Informed: Knowledge is power. Stay up-to-date on forecasts. Don’t get caught off-guard

• Health & Hygiene: Make sure you are stocked up on toiletries. And yes, that includes toilet paper.
