We are officially IN SESSION
The 2026 Maryland General Assembly is officially underway, having convened on State Circle in Annapolis just yesterday. Over the next 90 days, members of the Maryland Senate and House of Delegates will introduce and debate legislation, hold committee hearings, and work toward finalizing and passing a state budget before the session concludes in mid-April.
As always, we HIGHLY encourage you to monitor the daily schedule and familiarize yourself with the proposed bills. Every year we are met with the danger of harmful legislature for our industry; A danger that can only be overcome by taking action and speaking out.
