We’ve all been here before. It’s that strange period of confusion between Thanksgiving and New Years when days melt together, and your to-do lists endlessly grow. A time highlighted by twinkling lights and dreams of snow that are quickly ensued by the chaos of travel, hosting family, and buying gifts for everyone and their mother.

And to top it off? You’re still going to work and you’re still selling cars.

Here are a few resources worth reviewing to sharpen your holiday selling skills

12/3/2025 —Just yesterday, The president officially announced a ‘reset’ of fuel efficiency standards in the United States.

These standards, according to Trump, “put tremendous upward pressure on car prices”. In an attempt to decrease pressure on OEMs and increase affordability, regulations to meet high fuel-efficiency and low-emissions benchmarks are being loosened.

The administration also repealed earlier provisions that pushed automakers toward cleaner-running cars and EV’s. This includes ending certain federal incentives for EV purchases and removing fines for automakers that miss more stringent mileage/emissions requirements.

This decision has brought a tremendous amount of speculation. Many praise the step away from EV and toward affordability, while critics doubt its effectiveness and see it as a step backward.
