What is the MADA PAC?
The MADA PAC is a political contribution fund that supports motor vehicle dealer friendly legislators in Annapolis. Maryland politicians hold many fundraisers when the General Assembly is not in session. The MADA PAC purchases tickets to these fundraisers for MADA lobbyists and dealers that wish to attend.
Why is the MADA PAC important to you?

There is no question the recent trade war has imposed some extreme uncertainty in the automotive industry. Many speculate on the damage these tariffs will do to the industry, while others remain optimistic for a long term payoff.

Steel and aluminum tariffs were Increased from 25% to 50% starting yesterday. Inevitable effects on the auto industry are expected.
The popular opinion seems to be, in short, that tariffs = bad.

VW recently announced a ‘massive’ investment it will be making in the US along with ongoing “constructive” and “fair” talks with President Trump.
VW CEO hopes these talks will sprout a universal solution for foreign car makers to avoid the current steep tariffs.
