There’s plenty to celebrate this month 🥳
To every mom—especially our rockstar moms here at Pohanka Hyundai and the Pohanka Automotive Group of Capitol Heights—we appreciate you! 💝💐 Swing by this weekend to treat Mom to a service visit or help her upgrade to a ride she’ll never forget. 🚘🌷
This month, we honor those who taught us the importance of arriving safely. An inspiration we carry in every detail of what we do. #happymothersday❤️
Help us wish a very happy birthday to Will Derickson! 🎂🎈
Will is an incredible asset to our Jones sales team, and we’re so grateful for the hard work and dedication he brings every day.
We hope you have a fantastic birthday, Will! 🥳
IT’S THE LAW
California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA) has officially filed a lawsuit against Scout and Volkswagen — But why?
Scout, once owned by International, is now being produced by none other than VW. The revival of the iconic Scout SUV is all well and good, but VW has plans to do something drastic with this brand.
VW intends to sell Scout vehicles directly to consumers, bypassing dealerships completely. This practice is not only unfair, but unlawful.
NADA, many VW/Audi dealers, and numerous state associations across the country are already fighting this proposition, and CNCDA is taking them to court.
Time will tell what the outcome of this lawsuit holds, but we can only stay hopeful that the law is upheld, and the right thing is done by dealers.
